Nosey
Only got to one print today, nose jobs. Hot as balls here in Oregon. Did a few experimental prints with a new ink. Tomorrow I’ll see how it worked out.
Stuck like glue
I had planned to add colors to two different designs today but on opening the yellow ink I found it had turned the consistency of stale silly putty. I tried to reconstitute it but it was a lost cause. So only one board to show today. Now I’m scrambling to find a good source water based GP inks. Nazdar has a poor selection of colors.
Blue tube
I only had time to get to one design today. I added the second color of four to the design being used on our 8.5″ and 8.25″ decks. Here the blue film taped onto a printed board so I can line up the screen.
One color a day
I usually wait until the boards are all done before showing pictures, but this time I’m going to post the new art as it gets laid down on the board. yesterday I started two designs, the Park Bomb and our popsicle/square tail graphic.
Going to be very busy…

Sighted in the wild
Earth Patrol Media’s latest Foto Friday features Ty Beckley on the Park Bomb. Get a good look at those pictures, because it’s sold out and won’t be returning until the new graphics are done.
Honorable Discharge

Former Cold War rider Shane Bell has some video uploaded by his current sponsor Merde Skateboards, which normally wouldn’t be something we’d brag about, but Portland skate companies are for the most part, decent non-threatened entities. It’s very incestuous here. Check out this video for some vintage Shane Bell riding a Bush Beater for a large part of the sequence. Shane is a ripper.
Mark Conahan at EPM
Rich over at Earth Patrol Media snapped some shots at Newberg recently. The occasion was Jack Grover’s 7th birthday. This is Mark Conahan on Mike Swim’s “guest” model. Although by this point, we might as well just call it a regular model. Check out the pics at EPM.
