Marek Litinski on Skate Daily
Marek Litinski made the Skate Daily weekly image thanks to this Bryce Kanights photo. Brooklyn Street Skate Spot! Marek has been lamenting the passing of Václav Havel the last president of Czechoslovakia and the very first President of the Czech Republic.

Welcome Gabe Stoltz to the team.

This is long overdue for multiple reasons, but we’re glad to finally officially welcome Gabe Stolz to the team. This video (Thanks to Adam Perez) starts off with some footage from Aumsville, Oregon, which is fitting because that’s where we first met him back in 2008. Glad to have you on board Gabe!

Under the Overpass
Gabe took second place in the advanced division at the Under the Overpass contest in Corvallis, Oregon over the weekend. Contest by the BCSA (Benton County Skateboard Alliance) and photo by Colin Walsh. See more from the contest on Facebook.
Dadcam Video Snippet
Our friend Mike Egbert from Merde Skateboards put together a short video with a couple of Cold War riders. Some of those guys look pretty good. Thanks Eggs!
We can do it!

We’re looking to sponsor a female rider. You don’t have to wear one of these outfits, but you do have to mesh with “corporate vibe” and glory that is Cold War. Also, you have to be able to flatground ollie higher than the owners, which isn’t hard. Adjacency to the Portland area is preferable. We Can Do It!
Man Down!

Cold War team rider Dave Campbell was a casualty in a recent covert skateboarding operation deep behind enemy lines in Michigan. The end result was a broken leg. Our intel tells us Dave was actually walking around on it for a couple days. We’ve got the x-ray and some reconnaissance photos taken by none other than Bill Fergusson.
Marek Litinsky interviewed on Skate and Annoy
Marek Litinsky is the subject of the latest Callin’ on Colin podcast over on Skate and Annoy. Marek Litinsky hails from the Czech Republic, but he’s called Portland home for almost a decade. They couldn’t figure out a way to get subtitles on an audio-only podcast, so you’re going to have to squint your ears. This is a 1996 photo of a now defunct pool in Sherwood, Oregon. Check out Marek’s interview on Callin’ on Colin.
